Surprising less in the intent and more that I'd heard nothing about it was the news that Labour had snuck in legislation to criminalise Magic Mushrooms as Class A drugs just before the end of the parliamentary session. Cos, y'know, we wouldn't want people thinking they could go around eating naturally occurring substances with no proven addictive or harmful qualities and not get equated with people using heroin would we?
