had Stuff to write about but internet down at work & my monitor is kaput so minimal spod for me & shall just post random comments instead:

more hassles with the r!#a at work, have no idea which Tuesday & Thursday shifts I'm working now

my feet seem to have acquired the sensation of dragging around a couple of lumphammers attached to my ankles, did no more walking than normal (home from work, up & down to the Elephant a couple of times) but my feet were feeling bizarrely heavy

accidentally bought three books today, not that my to-read pile needed adding to

am thinking of having a kinda open-house thing on sunday april 10th in the afternoon for people just to come round & hang out, rather than anything as intense as a party, for my birthday: you should come!

and, yeah, stuff . . .

there was a complete history of Byzantium, an Umberto Eco novel (set in medieval Constantinople) and The Naked Lunch. That's what happens when the internet's down & I actually leave the office at lunchtime . . .

I know! Ooh, Umberto Eco - I have a huge pile of to read books, so absolutely no rush, but can I borrow it after you and also the history of Byzantium, please?

I have a strong suspicion that cheese may be involved.
