fall apart and start again
Jul. 12th, 2004 09:20 amso it turns out I suck at sleeping: today's my day off after hectic weekend of party, work, roleplaying etc. which was when I could Catch Up On My Sleep only my body clearly had other ideas & I ended up getting up at working day time anyway, having got bored of lying there with my brain buzzing. hmmm.
odd how ties find a way of never quite getting entirely severed: just over a year after leaving Richmond, I went back there after work yesterday to see the flat that K. has moved into on the high street and now L. has also got a job in the area. which I guess means that on the other hand the strongest of my ties to oxford will be disappearing (not that I don't still know lots of lovely people that live there, he says hastily, glancing down his friends' list.)
oh, and it became all too clear (although I don't *feel* like I have gaping holes in my recollections) by the fifth time that K. said "Yeah, I know, you told me at the party, don't you remember?" that my memory of the evening's events may not be entirely comprehensive- so feel free to remind me if I proposed marriage to you or said something particularly sparkling and witty at any point . . . .
