watched Lantana last night which was really cool: Aussie drama (I would say cop drama but that has associations of Eddie Murphy, this was just a drama where the main character happened to be a cop) examining stuff like what holds relationships together, issues of trust and emotional honesty: beautifully filmed and very resonant. It was interesting to see Geoffrey Rush playing quite an emotionally reserved role (& doing it well) since I'm so used to seeing him in parts that involve a good deal of, shall we say, exuberance.

K. is now catching the train with me to go up & see her this weekend since she Didn't Make It back to Glasgow after last weekend, which should make the journey less dull at least: El Greco & the Black Rider to see before then, though . . .
