flow through the veins of town
May. 16th, 2004 03:36 pmhave more or less recovered brain activity after party last night which was pretty cool: assorted anxieties about stuff generally turned out to be pretty unfounded- K. did come along (although my boss never made it) but didn't stay long cos her ex-housemates had tagged along and their presence within that context was bugging her out, so she took them off again. Still, I'll get to see her properly in Glasgow next weekend and at least she can't accuse me of never letting her meet my friends anymore ;-) plan not to start drinking too early was definitely the right one & sources of random affection were much appreciated.
friday night was first of the balmy summer evenings and much time was spent ambling around various shiney and pokey bits of London in a way that was utterly unproductive and blissfully pleasant: mini-mystery shopping pub crawl meant turned up pretty late to mage game and only did a very brief stint of zombieing but was cool to run into people i don't get to see often enough
