satyricaseems like I've got the job at St. Martin's: it's just a six month contract to start with & it's not likely to get extended beyond next March cos the service is changing but I kinda like that cos maybe it'll motivate me to teach myself the stats stuff I need to know if I still want to do research rather than just settle into a job and forget about it; will have to work some evenings & weekends as well but not too often. And best of all I don't have to bother filling in that pile of application forms that have been sitting there glowering at me . . .
