satyricaam only up this early on a saturday cos have not been to bed & caught early train back from egham, wasted the night being shown entertaining (if deeply wrong) web comics at the House of Plot post-sabbat. Trickiness of sabbat politics seemed to get resolved without too much trauma, but am tearing myself away from the rest of the Runnymede Weekend of Gaming Doom (with a little sadness, cos C/A is fantastically entertaining for me at the mo) to head up to the Peak District to celebrate Maggie's birthday over the bank holiday weekend with a bunch of school friends which should be really cool cos I've not visited up there for a few years now. Finally got the crossword finished (maggie's present, or her clue to it at least) last night as well after drawing it out with one too few blank squares the first time . . .
guess this means I won't be May Daying but, to be honest, I've not been doing any anti-capitalist stuff for about a year now (except the anti-war marches and the arms fair) and I'm not feelingparticularly bereft.
We cooked lunch for the residents at work yesterday to celebrate Big House's 2nd birthday (I was strictly potato peeling duties only) which was pretty hectic but went well; nice to be able to do something pretty universally appreciated by them for once.
