satyricawow: how really fucking depressing.
I saw a guy called matthew jay supporting sparklehorse at the Borderline a year or two ago and really liked him, one guy with a guitar, messy hair, resonant lyrics, so I bought the album which didn't disappoint & have been keeping an eye out for new releases/touring since. Realised I'd not heard anything for a while so i checked the website today and found out he died six months ago aged 24. Life sucks: official.
