From Heathrow to Hounslow

seem to be surviving placement, have started meeting the families whose cases I'll be handling, like, on my own which has gone okay so far although I'm kinda worried I'm gonna be more concerned about going in there and being liked than comfortable with the authoritarian aspects of my role. Still, the team are all really nice (including my supervisor, Julie White, just one letter short of Alex&Archie's paean to their Maths tutor "Juliet White/we're sorry we're v. v. shite. . ." etc.) and open to me running back to them in blind panic, asking what to do. I guess in many ways this is sink or swim time about whether or not I can pass myself off as a grown up.

Remember: no one is actually grown up. Everyone 'adult' is just trying to pass themselves off as grown ups, and some of these people are complete idiots, so you should be able to do it with stlye and panache.
