I was at home by myself Wednesday then joined by N, L & one of the Badgers for dinner on Thursday. On Friday our theatre crew gathered to watch The Lehman Trilogy, it had a long run-time and three acts but actually zipped through fairly pacily, the three actors taking on all the parts and narrating much of the story in the process. It was a really slick and absorbing theatrical experience, although in terms of the story was far more interested in the family origins of the bank and the big personalities of its early days, without then going on to explore the factors that led to its collapse.

N & I have bounced round various different social groups across the weekend: we headed down to Peckham to see M&A Saturday daytime, met their baby and headed out for lunch in the Peckham Levels, our first experience of the famous converted car park, including eventually finding our way up (having a pram earned you a special escort) to the rooftop bar, which was lovely. For the evening we were in Dalston for T&A's House Warming (and vegan BBQ): quite a different bunch than I remember from the parties of theirs we've been to before but I was having a good time so stayed on for quite a bit after N headed home. After another Sunday spent niddling at home, I journeyed up to N's cousin's this afternoon for a tea time family gathering; it was all very nice although I slightly struggle with the big group dynamic, I did get to nerd-out about board games with one of the other partners, however.
