Back from Maelstrom . . .

Well, after so many rain-affected weekends in tents so far this year it would be pretty churlish to start complaining about it being hot! Baking sun not entirely conducive to wearing lots of armour though . . . Fun was had though and good to see plenty of people, especially having missed the last one. I'm starting to feel as though there are plenty of people I can recognise and chat to, both in and out of the game, which is cool, although I mistimed my evenings and bailed early(ish) on the one where most people stayed up late and vice-versa. There was enough going on to keep everyone interested although I do need to do more making my own fun, but the heat meant a lot of sapped energy levels going on around the place.
