satyricaHad a great weekend in Manchester for Joe's birthday: a night out at Bollox on the Friday, some hardcore inactivity on Saturday until a party at his flat in the evening; then Sunday I got to gaze out over the city from Will's tower of glass and steel* before heading home.
There've been loads of films coming out recently I've been keen to see but have had little opportunity to do so(the pre-Oscar season, I guess)- last night I did manage to catch up with Black Swan which I enjoyed: it was atmospheric and effective, although not much more in all honesty.
*His and about 1000 other people's, I guess.

Date: 2011-02-25 05:59 pm (UTC)I was wondering, do you think that the throne was meant to conjur up the breaking away of Scotland etc at Bannockburn, with the incomplete x-shaped cross, or am I reading too much into it and being too patriotic. Lovely to see you - hope we can meet and actually talk next time =)
