satyricaWednesday: Young Knives at the Borderline, another surprisingly welcome we're going to play some new songs experience, heavier support than I was expecting frm The Chapman Family and, er, a trio of rather diffident youngsters whose name was clearly representatively forgettable, fine but sounded quite derivative, like they were playing covers of songs i didn't know
Thursday: Bent Bars organising meeting, it was good and I've volunteered to do stuff I may actually succeed in doing, then headed on to some drinks and pub quizage for Fiona's birthday, good fun!
Friday: work, then a quick leaving drink with WLDC (ex-job) people, indeed former employees were better represented than current, sad news that they're facing cutbacks, back to work for the evening then down to Brixton to dance the night away at Jamm with D; psy-trance is never going to set my world on fire but enjoyed it
Saturday: to Sussex to meet K & the girls, watched Tangled due to 4 year old in tow, foolishly ate at TGI Fridays, never a good choice, went back to K's for a quiet evening
Sunday: got lift up to Woking then train down to see parents for the afternoon, Mum been back home a couple of weeks now and everything seeming to be progressing as docs hope, train back to London
Monday: Unknown Armies, hurrah!
Tuesday: Madge's funeral, deserves its own post, sweet to hear her son recalling being made to stand on watch as she went round Chelsea surreptitiously planting sunflowers under cover of darkness, guerilla gardening before its time! Spanish then home.
Today: immense work stress, my most difficult client is in crisis, whole day or rushing around (Lewisham -> St. John's Wood -> Leyton -> Chelsea -> Lewisham) with very little to show for it, something's going to have to give if things carry on like this; wasn't the best of company for the lovely![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hysteria74 who came over to bring me my new computer that she'd built for me! Working wireless! Being able to wacth video from the internet! Not taking half an hour between pressing the on button and getting an open window! Spodding in bed when I should be getting some sleep!
