it lasted long enough for me to cycle home at least: although the range of other places which seemed to be having awful weather suggests there's *something* heading our way . . .
As someone who drove from South London to Chester yesterday afternoon and evening, I can tell you that from just a little north of High Wycombe (at about 5:30pm) to Whitchurch (at about 9:15pm), it was only London that had sunny weather.
The fact it took me 5.5 hours to get up here is also an indication of the crap weather and idiotic drivers who seem to think that slamming on the brakes in the wet conditions is the best way to behave.
