underpaid, overfed, a day late and a dollar short

spodding at work is like going for a slash at the pub, you hold off for as long as you can but once you start you find yourself going back there again and again; there's a slight element of no longer caring to it, although I have now been paid (two weeks late) which is at least some progress

at any given time I am mostly tired but generally okay: I did have a brief burst of feeling oddly refreshed by a meeting last night (we're planning to hold some benefits for queer Iraqi safehouses & organisations) I think by being reminded I'm actually capable of stuff, since the guy who had taken on the bulk of the responsibility was ill and I ended up kinda chairing & steering the whole thing with remarkably productive results, it was soon sapped again by several hours of wrestling with my computer afterwards though . . .

I am thinking of clubbbing this Friday: options include Sin City (pluses: more people might be interested, haven't been for a while) and Popstarz (pluses: free under certain circumstances, last few opportunities before it leaves Scala, giveaway of stuff)- shout if you'd be up for either of those and I'll try to formulate a plan . . .

I need to be in London on Saturday 11-2.30ish -and possibly longer if we end up talking / socialising afterwards. Plus on Sunday (all day). I would love to do a bit of dancing. If I could find a safe place to sleep and hang out before / in between, then I could save on time and money in commuting. But I would need to go (and possibly arrive) early, not my usual stay to the end.

hello! it's the friday night I'm thinking of going dancing somewhere, not much uptake yet though . . . crashing at ours after would probably be eminently doable, will keep you informed!

heh heh, yeah I kinda mentioned it cos I thought you'd be interested! It's going to Sin on the Charing X Road (where a lot of the rock/industrial nights I keep on failing to make it to are . . .) at the end of Jan, I've not been in but assume it's a smaller venue, if still multi-floored
