because I want a job to stay in for a prolonged period (given how bad for service users social work's high turnover of staff is) I'm trying to be conscious about making sure I take a job I'm sure I want, not just the first one that will have me; however, this is made trickier by quite how bad I am at getting myself to fill in application forms (I've managed half a form in two days so far)- I can see myself taking the first thing I get offered just so I don't have to fill out any more of the f*!#ers . . .

nice being settled chez Mags: we've pretty much spent the last three days cooking and doing crosswords, am off to Woking to catch up with K. tonight though and coming to the Egham pub Thu night if people are around
